A few years ago I had this at a party and fell in love. I loved it so much that I asked for the recipe and have made it dozens of times since. It is SO GOOD! It's really easy to make, too. It's the perfect dip for any party!

Tapatio sauce is just a brand of hot sauce. I'm sure any brand would do just fine:)
what a lot of onions! i'm guessing a bushel (approximately 50 pounds) is a typo. how much should we actually use?

I add cilantro, and either jalepenos or green and red pepper. VERY YUMMMY! Its a good burrito filler too!
Thought I might pipe in real quick. Made this at Christmas and it was a hit. Was worried about the avocado turning, like it does. So, my Mom told me to put the pit in with the avocado in the dish and leave it. Worked like a charm!! Even till the next day. I was amazed.
